Mini Biography:
Ileana D'Cruz was born in Mumbai in India Goan parentage.Her parents named her name after Ileana (Helen of Troy) from Greek mythology.

Career:
She debuted in Telugu language films Devadasu in 2006 directed by YVS Chowdhary who spotted her in a lovely ad film directed by Rakesh Roshan.The film did not get good reviews from critics, but it was asuccess at box-office and Ileana attracted a lot of attention formerly charm and beauty.
Her breakthrough came with her second Telugu film where she essayed the role of Shruti opposite Mahesh Babu in the highly successful Pokiri. The film got her good reviews. She made her Tamil language film debut with Ravi Krishna in Kedi. Though the film did so well at box-office, Ileana was sought after by many directors and actors in Tamil for films which she eventually rejected because of her commitments in Telugu.
Recently she acted with Pawan Kalyan in the movie Jalsa. She currently signed a Tamil film opposite Vijay. She has also signed a film against Manchu VishnuVardhan headed by YVS Choudary, who is tentatively titled as "Saleem". Her 2009 film on Ravi Teja, titled Kick is a hit at box.
